We booked a private transfer for two adults and two children, 13 and 5 years old. A minivan was delivered, and we were the only ones there. The kids all got a good night's sleep. First, there were the sharks. We arrived, went to check in, were given instructions to read, assigned a number, and then sat waiting for your turn. We waited about 30-40 minutes. Then they gave us life jackets and you waited for the boat. Keep in mind that you'll be walking over rocks to the boat. Then it's literally a 50-meter ride (I felt like it) and that's it. You dive into the water. We didn't rent a GoPro on the sharks and regretted it; you should definitely get one. Next, we went to Moalboal to fish for sardines. We rented a GoPro there, and it was the best decision. It cost 700 pesos. No waiting in line like with the sharks. We swam for about an hour. There was also a turtle) then lunch (the driver asked to choose between jellybee (I think I wrote it correctly) or Filipino cuisine, but you have to wait for it, we chose a quick bite and go home, in the end they picked us up at 4 am and we were at the hotel by 5 pm. Canyoneering was everything I didn’t know I needed—thrilling, grounding, and absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we stepped into the canyon, it felt like stepping into another world: crystal-clear water, towering rock walls, and the pure adrenaline of jumping, sliding, and swimming through nature at its rawest.
What truly made the experience next-level was my guide. Knowledgeable, calm, and genuinely passionate, he made me feel safe and confident every step of the way while still keeping the adventure fun and exciting. Their encouragement, patience, and stories turned what could have been intimidating into pure joy. I trusted them completely—and that trust let me fully live in the moment.
And then… the meal afterward. Honestly, the perfect ending. After hours of adventure, sitting down to a beautifully prepared, hearty meal tasted unreal. Every bite felt earned—fresh, flavorful, and shared with laughter and gratitude.
