There was a bit of confusion over needing to pre-book admission online (for 10.05h) for Segestra. By the time I saw this, there were no tickets available for that day. However, maybe as so early in the season it proved to be no problem. We arrived at 9.05am. Also, it was International Women's Day, women were admitted free. Good to book the 'shuttlebus' = huge coach ! up and around the hill to the larger site, hidden from view. Fabulous wild flowers everywhere. Erice was stunning, could have done with more time at both these sites.

We got there quickly. We boarded at the starting station and there was no one else on the bus. The ride took 40 minutes.

A wonderful half-day trip to Corleone. Sergio was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. The transport in the comfortable car was also excellent. We saw a lot of the hinterland. It was a lot of fun.
