We really liked the city. What we liked least was that there wasn't enough time to see everything. We couldn't visit important spots in the city, like the sea lion sanctuary. My advice: bring a packed lunch so you don't have to spend time having lunch, even though the food there is wonderful.

We loved Casapueblo and punta del Este and especially our tour guide Marcela! Not only was she a wealth of information about the area but she was also very helpful giving us tips and guidance.

This tour was well organized. Pick up and drop off was smooth and quick, the driver was great and the tour guide was kind and humorous. The van was comfortable and spacious. Punta del este would be a perfect place to visit in the summer and although it’s winter it was still worth seeing. Although it is very expensive, there are a variety of places to eat and shop, the tour allowed for 3 hours of free time. Have breakfast before the tour or bring snacks because free time doesn’t start until noon-1pm. The tour guide made a quick stop for us to have a close up of the seals who were close to shore because the fishermen were feeding them. That was a great little bonus!
