The pier is a bit out of the way. But once there it’s nice. There are 2 ferries one at 7 the other at 10. The ride is chill, you can do many things on the island. Make sure you bring shorts and goggles if you are sand boarding★

I had a great day with the Sunset Safari 'Get Wrecked' tour. Very professional & safety conscious but not over the top or too formal. All staff were fun people and keen to help you have a good time. Very knowledgeable re the local aquatic life too, and staff ensured you didn't miss the under water highlights (wobbegong sharks, turtles etc). The day itself is divided across 3 activities including sandboarding a 70kmh slope (a real hoot), kayaking in twin seat clear bottom craft (very stable) and snorkeling around the Tangalooma Wrecks. Yummy self serve wraps for lunch. The ride across on the MiCat ferry is pleasant and everything is well organised. It is largely a back-packer clientele, and I was probably the oldest geezer on the trip by at leat 20 years! But if you have grey hair and are still keen for some adventure don't hesitate. It was a lot of fun. Highly recommended.★

Overall, it was okay. In the morning, I took a taxi to the pier to change tickets and boarded the boat. After landing, I walked around and took pictures. The Chinese food I ate in Firestone was not bad. The wreck watch is generally the same, and it is difficult to wait until 6 o'clock to feed the dolphins. Two small fishes are just a mouthful. They can't touch or stay for a long time. It is better to stand on the trestle bridge and take pictures.
Overall, it is OK, but it is best not to travel for a day, it is more suitable to live on the island for a day!★

If you have bad physical strength, you don't need to climb the dunes again until the last slide. According to the points of the guide's instructions, you will not overturn the car, which is very easy to do. Snorkeling is super good, you can see a variety of colorful fishes in the coral reef, there are turtles, but not everyone has the opportunity to see it. The whole snorkeling is not difficult, as long as you wear a life jacket, just follow the guide's instructions. Finally, the glass-bottomed canoe 🛶, superb, the tour guide will feed the fish food, and then many fish jump to eat, surrounded by the boat. There is no Chinese tour guide for this activity, and you need to understand English. In short, although it is local winter, the water temperature is also 20+ degrees Celsius, a little cold, can be tolerated. It is a full of surprises.
