There was some organizational problem, the original tour guide did not show up, but the travel agency quickly resolved the problem. After that, the program was smooth. Fantastic experience! With a friendly local tour guide.

I had a wonderful tour with Arpit. He was very intelligent and engaging, and I felt completely safe with him throughout the experience. He showed me the largest open-air laundry, took me inside, and even helped take photos. We also had a pleasant train ride—he was very attentive and always made sure I felt comfortable and secure. Later, we visited the Dharavi area, which was incredibly interesting to see.

I took two different tours with AJ and was more than happy to have had him as a guide. He was reliable on time and knowledgeable! He even had a good advice for me regarding accommodation which made me really happy too. As I am traveling solo it is sometimes hard to choose a guide, but with AJ it was easy and I felt good at all times! My highlight was the Slum Tour with him because he figured out a good route. He knows people there, talks to them. So it’s fine if you come as a tourist with him, so you don’t feel like you’re intriguing their private space. It was a very good tour! Thank you very much AJ! Looking forward my next time in Mumbai to keep doing some sightseeing with you! I absolutely loved Mumbai!!

Ruba was a fantastic guide! The explanations were super thorough and clear, with great attention to detail. It’s obvious that Ruba really knows the stuff and was more than happy to answer all our questions. The whole vibe was very relaxed and welcoming. Overall, it was a high-quality experience!
