Reviews: Munnar Tea Plantation Walk with Sunset View (By Munnar Info)
Guest User2026-01-22
The sunset walk was absolutely beautiful with lots of opportunities for incredible photos. Our guides Raneeah & Samy were very friendly and informative about the tea. They were very willing to take our pictures and would recommend good spots. They also pointed out elephant tracks and porcupine needles. It wasn't too difficult of a walk, but you should definitely wear good shoes and be relatively fit and able.

The trekking tour was really great! The view was amazing and we walked on really beautiful paths. Our guide Philip explained us also a lot about the tea plantations and the region in general! The breakfast at the viewpoint was also super nice! I would definitely recommend this tour! Thank you :)
Reviews: Munnar: Tea trail, Tea Factory, and Tea Tasting Tour
Guest User2026-02-16
We had a great experience visiting Lockhart Tea Plantation and Factory in Kerala. I was surprised by how much I didn’t know about tea! We started with an easy walk through the beautiful tea plantation, where we learned about how tea is grown and harvested. The landscape was stunning. Then we visited the factory to see the final processing steps, which was very interesting, and finished with a tasting of different kinds of tea. Pickup and drop-off from our homestay was arranged upon request (charged extra, as per description of the activity), which was very convenient. Just note that you need your own private driver to go from the plantation to the factory. Highly recommended!
