I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour.
The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor.
The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.★

We enjoyed the Cu Chi Tour. From picking up us from our hotel, going to the said tunnel, and dropping us off back to our hotel were smooth and safe. Our guide, Iam Bao, was very patient and very active as our guide. We learned a lot from Iam and would 100 hundred percent recommend him and this tour to our friends who will be coming to Vietnam. Thank you for a very interactive and fun Cu Chi tour! Worth all the money spent!★

Highly recommend this tour, the guide pick up at 7:30AM and sent back to hotel at 4:30PM as written. You get to experience different forms of transportation, car, kayak, boat, and snacks and drinks. Our tour guide Johnny speaks good English, very funny, and keep everyone engaged. You definitely get your money worth. Food is good for Asian people. The only downside is many Westerners don't eat fish and chicken with bones at lunch, that created quite a lot of waste. If the restaurant can improve on providing bread and western food, that will be a plus.★

We had a fantastic time. I won't spoil the wow factor, but the program has plenty of good surprises. Shooting real AK-47 and other ammunition at the shooting range costs 750,000 rubles for 10 shots. Go for it, it's a blast. The tour runs from 7 a.m. to about 7 or 8 p.m., and you don't need to bring food; you'll be fed. The tour is in English, but you don't really need it. The bus is comfortable. Special thanks to the tour guide, Minhi (that's her in the photo), for her clear route instructions; excellent work.
