The kimono rental service is located near the tourist spots. Friendly women quickly dressed me in a kimono and styled my hair. There's a wide selection of kimonos to suit every taste. We had a great time strolling around and taking photos in beautiful locations. I enjoyed trying on a kimono, but walking around in tabi for long periods is uncomfortable, so it's a good thing I brought sneakers.

The shop is super easy to find, and if you haven't been before, this is the place to go. The shop is Chinese-speaking and friendly, the staff are incredibly patient and the service is excellent. They have a wide variety of styles, and bags and umbrellas are free to use. If you're interested, go for it!
