I enjoyed the day there . If you want just make round trip 3 hours is enough I think if you make one of 2 fast stops can do it in 3 hours . By the way ,, was good experience , the weather that day was perfect!!

A highly recommended activity during your New York tour is the approximately one-and-a-half-hour visit, which includes a stunning view of the Manhattan skyline.
Reviews: Statue of Liberty 50-Minute Super Express Sightseeing Cruise by Circle Line

This is a cruise ship where you can view the Statue of Liberty from about 1km away. Although it was cold and windy in the winter, the period from March to October would be a more suitable season to admire the Statue of Liberty. I am very satisfied with being able to take photos while looking at the Statue of Liberty.

Reviews: New York City Landmarks - Statue of Liberty Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise - 1.5 Hour Sightseeing Cruise by Circle Line

The boat was larger than I expected, with a spacious deck and guided tours of the sights. There was also a snack bar where you could buy food and drinks. It passed several bridges and, on the return trip, slowed down near the Statue of Liberty for photo opportunities. It was a comfortable ride, and I didn't get seasick. By the way, they require you to arrive 45 minutes to an hour in advance, but that's not necessary; many people arrive 15 to 30 minutes early.
