Reviews: 1-day tour to Cape Kamui in Hokkaido · Otaru canal picking Shimamuii coast Yoichi distillery (bestseller)

It was good. What I think is something not to change is the Shimamuii coast. There’s really nothing to do there. but i guess that’s just to fit the time
Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Hokkaido Jingu + Maruyama Park + Otaru Day Tour from Sapporo
Guest User2026-07-04
I highly recommend the Sapporo Day Tour from Tour Story. I booked this tour because it allows for solo travelers, and I am truly grateful that they went the extra mile to accommodate the trip, even at a loss from the agency's perspective. The guide, Yuriru, is a young native of Hokkaido who provided a wealth of information on various history and culture, making for an enjoyable trip. Thanks to her, I had a comfortable journey. I highly recommend this tour if you are planning a trip to Sapporo.
Reviews: [Official Ticket] JR PASS Hokkaido Rail Pass (electronic exchange voucher)
Guest User2026-03-30
It's very practical, but it's a bit of a loss if the railway is operating in winter. Hokkaido has beautiful scenery, but train tickets are too expensive. Using this is more cost-effective if you're visiting multiple places. However, if there's a blizzard and the railway stops, there are no refunds.
Reviews: 1-day tour to Cape Kamui in Hokkaido, Japan · Picking Otaru Shimamuii coast distillery (optional pickup)
Guest User2026-07-18
On July 17, 2027, I just returned from a Hokkaido day trip and am already giving feedback. Our tour guide was Rou Rou, a young woman with a clear, pleasant voice. Today we visited the Sea of Japan coastline, including Cape Kamui, Shimabugi, the Yosen Distillery, and Otaru—four attractions in total. Each attraction was given ample time to appreciate at our own pace. This is more considerate than other tour packages. I originally wanted to join the official day trip with Japan Chuo Bus, as I'd heard on Xiaohongshu that their tours offered plenty of time. However, considering the language barrier, I found a similar tour on Ctrip, which also allowed ample time and offered easier communication in Chinese. This allowed even someone like me who prefers a leisurely pace to keep up with the group. I'm so sorry, near the end of our first stop at Cape Kamui, I went to buy ice cream. Since it was my first time using a vending machine, the coin wouldn't work (I pressed the wrong buttons, causing the ticket to take a long time to come out). After getting the ticket, the staff member dispensing the ice cream unfortunately left, and before I knew it, it was time to meet up again. I was late and made everyone wait 5 minutes, and I'm very sorry. Rou Rou specifically explained this to the driver, who was Japanese and very kind. At each stop, he diligently took out paper and pen to record the time. Later, when my phone was almost out of battery, Rou Rou asked the driver to help me fully charge it on the bus using his device. Thank you! Another thing I really need to thank you for is that my room was self-check-in; there was no receptionist, and I needed a password to enter. I usually bring two phones when I travel, but unfortunately, I forgot the one with the password in the room. When I realized this mistake, I was very anxious the whole way back. What would I do if I couldn't get into my room that night? Unfortunately, the trip ended in the evening. Rou Rou was also in a hurry to get off work and go home, but after learning about my situation, she immediately went online to find the hotel's contact information, called the staff, found out the room password, and told me. She really solved my big problem!! Please, your company, commend Rou Rou! I also recommend everyone sign up for this tour; just look at my photos to see how beautiful the scenery is! This Tiffany blue sea is called "Shikotan Blue" here; don't miss it when you come to Hokkaido! Also, Otaru is lovely and worth a visit.
