I used it in Thailand and Singapore. I've used eSIM before, but it required QR code scanning and was a bit of a hassle at the airport. However, this eSIM was automatically set up with the push of a button, so I was able to set it up while walking around without any preparation! It's convenient to rent a phone for a couple of days upon arrival, so you can easily call a taxi and do whatever you need to do, and then buy a local SIM card. One phone had two SIM cards, an e-SIM and a local SIM card. The e-SIM coverage in Bali was sometimes worse than the local SIM card, but not critical.

I'm loving these eSims.  It makes life so much easier.  No need to remove a plastic sim card just to add a temporary one.  The first time I used one, it was my husband that bought it and helped me install it.  It was a bit tricky but the second time I bought another one myself and installed the app it was MUCH easier.  I will be using these every trip out of my country now.  Thanks.
