The Petrópolis tour was nothing what I thought it was going to be, Ms Eva was very knowledgeable spoked 3 languages, very informed step by steps. Know her history. I felt it was a little overate the Museum. The Crystal Palace was a joke, just a empty building. The Quintandinha Palace was should a long drive just to only see the outside from across the lake. Didn’t walk down Teresa Street, but did go inside the Mall. NeiGotic Cathedral was very nice. The Chocolate Factory was very nice. The Domonts house seem from distance. The lunch meal was amazing, drinks not inclue. Dessert not included. But it was nice, what make nice was Eva the guide.

The tour is very well organized. I must say that I was lucky enough to be the only customer for the tour, which I was able to do at my own pace with a very friendly and interesting driver/guide. So a private tour. It's a bit expensive (240 euros) but the trip is worth it and the single-customer conditions are exceptional.

Welcome to one of the world's largest urban forests! We're in Tijuca... a National Park with a fascinating history stretching back to its earliest days... I think it's a must-see here in Rio... prized trees mingle with captivating waterfalls and lagoons... don't just limit yourself to the nightlife, beaches, and fun! There's so much more to see, especially the region's natural beauty. I highly recommend a visit!

Paloma was very warm and welcoming. She made sure we were aware of where we were going and what we were doing. Parts of the tour did seem rushed though. We were not able to spend long in each location.


