I used it at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport during my layover. It took 2-3 minutes to connect after landing, which made me a little uneasy, but once it picked up a signal, it worked almost exactly like in Japan. However, I tried tethering one of my family's iPhones, and the speed dropped significantly, so be aware of that. But considering the price (in the double digits), it's an incredible bargain.

This was my first time using it, so there are some things I'm not yet familiar with, but I think it would be even easier to use if there was a clearer way to check the remaining data allowance.
