My wife and I spent our first day in the Seattle area taking this full day Mt Rainier tour with Tours Northwest. Mark was our tour guide for the day and he was excellent. Not only was Mark the bus driver, but he was the narrator, picture taker, teacher, etc.. He really made us feel that he wanted us to have a special day and that we did!!!
If you are questioning committing 10-12 hours of your vacation day, let me assure you that this is a “must do”! Yes we lucked out by having incredible weather, but the tour experience only enhanced what is an awesome sight that is Mt Rainier!!★

My daughter and I went on this tour during a 3 day Seattle visit for her 17th birthday. I would say that this tour was worth every penny! Ben was a fantastic guide and we had a lovely time. We were picked up and dropped off at our downtown hotel which was extremely convenient. We stopped part way up the mountain for a break and Ben made us coffee and served a snack of breakfast breads. Later, had a very delicious lunch (cloth napkins and everything LOL). Being July, we had gorgeous weather and the beauty of Mt. Rainier cannot be described. It was truly lovely. We saw waterfalls, a bit of snow, lakes, gorgeous views, and even a bear! Thankfully he was walking away from us, but it was very cool. This is a long day so plan accordingly (we knew that going in) but would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Ben was very gracious and considerate. He gave us so much information and was very accommodating to be sure that everyone in the group (5 of us total) had as little or as much activity as we wanted. 10/10 Highly recommend!★

Went yesterday and absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend for the stunning views. Started at 9am and came back by 7.40… actual hike was from 1-4pm (paradise hike/picnic area). After the paraside hike, saw 2 waterfallls and walked around forest. Susan is very knowledgeable and great guide- very patient. She also has light lunch/snacks available. Definitely worth it !★

Our tour guide Corey pick us up promptly from our hotel . Then we made the rounds to pick up the rest of the tourists. Next we made a stop at the store to pick up food for lunch and snacks. Then we made the 1.5 hour journey to see the most breathtaking sights ever! Cory knew exactly where to stop for hikes (2 small hikes and 1 long hike). It was a perfect day spent in the mountain with stimulating sounds and sights. I will never forget how amazing this trip was and hope that I will be back very soon. It was awesome to sit back and enjoy the ride.
