Ctrip Travel is good; it truly is a pure sightseeing tour. The hotel is very good, but there's a slight difference in breakfast service between individual travelers and the hotel. This is something the hotel doesn't do well. Our tour guide, Xiao Song, was excellent; we were definitely not tricked into shopping. I just hope Ctrip will offer more regular 2-day or 3-day tours. Because Ctrip didn't offer any after the holiday, I booked a 2-day tour with China Travel Service. I ended up being scammed. After the National Day holiday, I booked another 2-day pure sightseeing tour to Beijing for other relatives, also with China Travel Service, and I was scammed again. The first day was spent shopping, they practically ripped us off, we only saw the Great Wall, and didn't go anywhere else. It almost made the two elderly people get carsick.
