It was incredibly relaxing and everything worked perfectly. We were there during the off-season, and I highly recommend taking a tour to the Blue Lagoon with one of these companies. The boats aren't too big or crowded. Everything is explained along the way, and you have plenty of time to swim in the Blue Lagoon. There, we were served fresh watermelon and drinks.

We went on the 3 hour boat ride. We got there 30 mins before like it said so therefore we managed to get a seat at the top of the boat. Views were great and slowed down at various points to see the sights. We did pop down to the bottom of the boat where you can see small fish rocks etc. Drinks and alcohol available to buy from the bar. The 1 hour swim at the blue lagoon was fun as the boat was equipped with a slide. Life jackets were available if your not a particularly good swimmer as the boat doesn't get up to the beach so you won't touch the bottom until you swim closer which wasnt too far. On the way back free wine and fruit was given. Overall a great trip and well worth doing.
