Very worth seeing the big castle focus, come to Australia must visit, highly recommended, so beautiful! Although the photo can't take the intuitive shock of the big castle focus, it has fallen deeply in my heart and mind. This time due to limited time, snorkeling has not been completed, and I will definitely come to Cairns next time I have a chance! Returning to the reef (after our abysmal 2023 trip with Calypso) with Quicksilver in August 2025. Weather was sunny and clear in Port Douglas, but we knew beforehand that Agincourt Reef would be a bit hot and miss, but we didn't have much time left on Port Douglas. So rolled the dice. Departure was smooth albeit a little rocky when the throttle was opened up. The weather turned a bit with clouds rolling in and the heavens opening as we neared the reef. I could feel the boat slow down, then as if rehearsed, the rain stopped and the sun came out almost to the second of our arrival. We suited up the grabbed some lunch, before taking the plunge. The Reef was magical, despite the changing weather conditions. All on all this trip is highly recommended, just make sure to book a clear, sunny day.
