First was a short, easy hike through the forest to the cold soufre. It was much prettier than the photos I’d seen posted. Next we went to the old fort. We learned a little history, had some great views. The highlight was the boat ride up the Indian river. It was lovely.★

This is not an easy hike but it has the best views on the island. It's an experience you can't get anywhere else. Antoine was very knowledgeable about the trees, plants and wildlife, along with the history. He was very patient and accommodating. He makes it look easy! Not for the feight of heart. Wear good shoes and go at your own pace. Bring lots of water and good snacks and wear a bathing suit. If you can, definitely take a dip in the sulfur river. ★
