Stephanie, our guide, was easy to locate in old San Juan. She was very thoughtful and considerate of anyone who had any food, allergies or aversions and ensured they were taken care of. We quickly introduced ourselves to each other and had a total of 11 on our tour from all over. Stephanie was great at providing some historical background and interesting anecdotes as we ate our way through the city. We had more than enough food at each stop to the point where most of us couldn’t even finish what we were given. I was so pleased with all of the different choices (coffee, guava butter, chocolates, paletas, mofungo, and more) that we had and really felt like I was able to truly sample the local cuisine. we were told that they have different restaurants that they go to each day and there are two staples which I dont want to spoil. I don’t think you can go wrong on this tour and would highly recommend for anyone visiting. This is also a great tour for solo travelers as everyone was so warm and welcoming and I easily socialized with everybody in the group.

Here's my ATV experience at Hacienda Campo Rico. We took an Uber from Condado, which cost about $20 each way. We arrived 40 minutes early. You need a driver's license and a credit card (not Amex). Everything was quick and easy upon arrival. They have a store where you can buy things you might need, like face masks and goggles. There's a bar after the ride and snacks available before or after the tour, which lasts about two hours. Our tour guide, Roberto, was super nice, very friendly, and very direct with the rules. He was clear, precise, and always attentive to the group. The trail is off-road, so you'll get wet and go through mud puddles and water. I recommend wearing water shoes or shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Wear comfortable clothes and have a great time! It's super fun and highly recommended. The hacienda also offers other activities like horseback riding and zip-lining, all at an additional cost.


