I recently took a tour of Lake Titicaca and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We visited the Uros community, where we had the opportunity to learn in depth about their unique lifestyle, traditions, and culture. It was fascinating and truly enriching. Afterward, we returned to the boat and continued on to the Taquile Highlands, which offered stunning views and a deeper connection to the local heritage. Overall, it was an engaging and memorable journey that I would highly recommend.★

We liked the trip. The scenery on lake titicaca is spectacular. The Taquile island is truly a gem . Our guide, Samuel was really professional and does his job well. He told us a lot about the culture of people living on floating island and Taquile island, which are very interesting. He also took good care of us.
The short trip to Uros floating island, however, was, in my opinion, a tourist trap. They gave us a brief and nice introduction of their life, then they start selling overpriced souvenirs. And the reed boat trip was very bad. They carried us to the middle of water canal and start asking us to pay, it was really awkward. And also there was a little girl on the boat who sang for two minutes and started to ask money from everyone.
One the other hand the Taquile island is truly amazing. We took a small hike to the town plaza and enjoyed local prople dancing and a nice lunch. Inwish that they can let us stay longer on Taquile island and skip the Uros part.
