We were really worried when we arrived at the airport because we forgot to buy a SIM card before departure. Luckily, we selected this eSIM online. Installation and activation was super easy. However it only works with Movistar which isn't a great carrier in Ecuador. Sometimes you have to manually select the network and put it as Movistar. Else it might automatically choose to pick claro and never get connection. I wish there was an esim compatible with Claro which is known as a better carrier.


