Ish was a great guide helping us at the train station to get to Brighton. The logistics were flawless! The great camaraderie and guidance provided by Ish was second to none. A fascinating walk of around 2 hours that as well as telling you the story of the Titanic and its links to Southampton, also gives you a few interesting facts about Southampton itself. Bryan, the guide was great, hugely knowledgeable but imparts the information in a really easy way and is happy to answer any questions. He was a really great guide, and made the history come alive. I had thought about just doing my own walk around to see Titanic based places, but am sooo glad I didn’t as this tour covers things I had never found when researching a walk on my own. The end of the tour is on a street with two pubs that have links to the Titanic, and if you show your tour ticket in the pub as you order you get a percentage off. I felt it only fitting to raise a glass to the Titanic, her passengers and crew, and Southampton itself at each pub once the tour had finished. Do the walk. You will not regret it.
