Superb trip. Nate was informative, friendly and told us a lot about Slovenia and its history. The trip was really enjoyable, castle was awesome and the landscape so pretty. Caves were cool, with a fun train ride. Would highly recommend this tour. Great value and guide Nate was fab. Thankyou

Amazing. To start with, our guide/driver arrived with a car seat and a booster sit for our kids, without us having to request one, he was very proactive and friendly. The drive was smooth, pleasant, and the whole tour was incredible

David was a most interesting guide. He had a kind personality too and I would highly recommend this tour. As tour guides go, he was the best on all levels.
Reviews: Ljubljana: UNESCO-Listed Škocjan Caves and Piran Day Trip

Amazing day trip. A contrast of natural and man-made attractions. The Skocjan Cave is just fantastic and is on an epic scale, whereas Postojna is more of a beautiful cave. The Skocjan cave is more of a challenge as well, but if you are in a fit state this is a walk in the park, plus there is a funicular that takes you most of the way up back to the visitor centre. Piran is great a picturesque seaside venetian old town with plenty of things to do and see, plus plenty of eating optione from Slovenian to Italian. As of the guided tour itself, it was truly amazing. There were only 3,of us on this this tour, our guidde was Mikel and he was very knowledgeable. He gave us s walking tour of Piran and he took us tona viewpoint at the Skocjan cave.

The castle is an absolute must-see if you visit Ljubljana. Perched on a hill, it towers over the city. You can reach it in several ways. There's a road leading to it, so you can drive. The tourist train also uses it and stops at the castle. There's a walking path for those who don't mind a brisk hike. Finally, there's the funicular, the cable car, which I chose to take. The castle is beautiful, and there's plenty to see and do. Of course, there are all the things you expect at a castle, but also surprising exhibitions. For refreshments, there are various venues, from a cafeteria, where the chocolate cake tasted heavenly, to a Michelin-starred restaurant. And of course, there are magnificent views. The castle is truly not to be missed.
