After reading reviews of this tour, I expected to be forgotten somewhere, threatened with extra money, treated rudely, and so on. And, at the very least, an old and dirty bus. BUT! The tour was wonderful! The bus was comfortable, the driver was awesome, and the guide, Mattia, was attentive and polite. He kept a list of all the passengers, checked and counted them at every stop, and when necessary, ran around looking for latecomers. We bought tickets to Peles Castle online and went to see it ourselves. In Brasov, we went to the Black Church and then ate at the Gustsri restaurant. To sum it up: the tour was worth every penny, a pure pleasure!

The organization was excellent; we were safely transported from the meeting point to the palace. There, we had to wait briefly before the actual guided tour began. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guided us wonderfully through the rooms, and shared many interesting and entertaining facts. Overall, a very successful experience!

This tour is a must if you’re visiting Romania. Easy pick up and drop off. Yes it’s a long day but worth it. First stop was Peles Castle. Although it was closed we still got to see the beautiful castle and grounds. We then went to Brasov and had a wonder around before a fabulous meal. On our way to Bran Castle we went past Nevermore Academy where Wednesday was filmed. Bran Castle is small but set beautifully with great views. Make sure you take some water and light refreshments with you. We were lucky with the weather but there had been snow so parts were sloppy so make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Our tour guide, Marius was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
