The weather and the forecast for the aurora were not good, so we thought we wouldn't be able to see it, but we were able to see it in the end, and our guide said it was a big surprise! We were so happy that the photographer took lots of photos in the cold.

Had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. I was glad I booked it! The food was excellent! Starters was delicious with a mix of vegetables, whitebait and reindeer tongue. Mains was elk stew, roasted reindeer and salmon. Dessert was a traditional Finnish dessert consisting of cheese slices cooked in milk and berry compote. All ingredients sourced locally. Nice place to try for an authentic Finnish dinner. Lovely restaurant in a remote location.


