4.5 stars. The Guilin Hotel has a great location right next to Ronghu Lake and is well-managed. The internet cable connection was loose, but someone quickly fixed it. Afterwards, staff even came to inquire about the repair and service. While the Yangshuo Riverside Hotel isn't a true five-star hotel, the environment is absolutely beautiful; a trip to Yangshuo wouldn't be complete without staying at this hotel. Ctrip's service is excellent; we also chose Ctrip for our Sanya trip last year. However, this time, the 330 yuan luxury cruise on the Li River booked through Ctrip was a bit expensive, especially considering the 45 yuan for drop-off at the pier, making it 90 yuan for two people.

The speed was fine, and the setup was easy. Most hotels have Wi-Fi, so 1GB per day is usually sufficient. If you'll be traveling for long periods, it's a good idea to buy an unlimited data SIM.

This was one of the best yours ever. Walt is SN excellent guide and he tells his stories with warmth and humor. With him you got to go all the places on the island and meet interesting people, in our cause, Chamorro carvers, bakery owner, and a local senator, and others. Highly recommended. The price of the tour is a bit high particularly since it is per Person. Worth every penny though.
