Reviews: San Gimignano: Lunch or Dinner at a Winery with Wine Tasting

The winery and dinner were better than expected. It was a one on one presentation with descriptions of the wines at a table for just myself and my wife. We were offered 8 different wines. Starting with a white and then six reds and a desert wine. We were given an explanation of each wine and advised which course to drink it with. Wines were all excellent and much better than expected Food was a plate of charcuterie, a lasagna and meat plate. Only disappointment were just cookies for desert We were there at night and gardens are well lit with lights on the vines and cypress trees. Place was much nicer than expected They do offer the wines for sale and shipment★

This tour is the one to book. The first location was above my expectations for the food and the wine. We had 7 wine and 3 oil tastings for the first location with snacks/meals that enhance the flavors of the wine/oil. The second location had an amazing view of the Tuscan vineyards and we had three more wine tastings with a little tour on how they make their wine. Our tour guide Dario was very friendly and knowledgeable of the wine/oil.Trip.com picks
