Reviews: Gastronomic Tour São Paulo – Culture & History Through The Art Of Food – Private

The gastronomical tour of São Paulo with Vicky is a MUST! She took us to a typical padaria to have a Paulista “breakfast” & coffee, near Itaim Bibi. The ambiance was lovely. Then we headed to the huge municipal market in the old downtown area. The building is art deco with gorgeous stained glass, and many stalls selling fresh fruits, seafood, meats, etc. Plus lots of restaurants with pasteles and other typical foods. It was a dream! We had a drink and pasteles, tried some yummy tropical fruits and purchased items to take home like brazil nuts. Next we went to another area and saw a restaurant called A Casa do Porco, and got to go in the kitchen (with a hairnet, haha) to see the food preparation. We ended up eating there the next night and it was fantastic! Vicky also took us to Cachaçeria SP to try different specialty cachaças. What a lovely experience. Highly recommend a tour with Vicky!!
