Reviews: Eihō-ji Temple, Ena Gorge, Magome, Tsumago-juku day tour
Guest User2025-10-18
There were four attractions in total. Eihoji Temple already showed some autumn colors in mid-October, and I'm sure in another month it'll be dominated by ginkgo trees and red maples. Ena Gorge wasn't anything special; I went there simply because I wanted to pass by. Magome-juku is so newly renovated, it looks like a sloped version of Panlong Tiandi. There are so many shops, and navigating the slopes on a rainy day was a bit scary. When we arrived at Tsumago-juku, it rained heavily, which only added to the charm of the quaint Tsumago-juku. Our group of about a dozen people was arranged by minibus, and everyone was very punctual, both for the morning check-in and the gathering at each attraction! The tourists were mostly from Southeast Asia, Europe, America, and Taiwan, and the guide spoke Chinese and English throughout the trip. 👍🏼

Ricky was an excellent guide, explaining the itinerary and attractions on the bus and accompanying us on the way to Longshen Waterfall. He even lent us his umbrella when it rained. Five stars!
Reviews: Nagoya Highlight Tour guided by a friendly local

Tomoko is a fantastic guide. She met us punctually at the agreed meeting point with a sign, clearly printed with our names. We needed to purchase train tickets to Takayama but found it confusing, she immediately volunteered to help us. She’s very friendly and we can tell right away she genuinely likes people and love being a guide. She took us to all the sights as agreed and though the weather was hot, she was constantly thoughtful to ensure we walked in the shade and she also brought us ice cold hydrating drinks in her backpack. She’s very knowledgeable and taught us much about Nagoya, Japanese culture and even introduced all the specialty foods to us. We are so grateful for the wonderful day we spent with Tomoko. We travel all over the world and can say she’s one the best guides we’ve ever had. Domo arigato gozaimasu Tomoko.
