The tour guide respected the tourists' decisions throughout the trip, and the itinerary was very well arranged. The hotel was also very clean. We were lucky to be assigned a room with a balcony, although the balcony was a little dirty, and the balcony door lock was a bit unreliable; it opened easily with a little force, which was a bit unsafe. The room number was 3206. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future. Everything else was great, and the hotel breakfast was quite plentiful. Overall, the Ctrip vacation itinerary was excellent!

I was very satisfied with the Ctrip Stone Forest travel photography session, especially the photographer who was very dedicated, had excellent photography skills, and produced a good production.

I waited from noon to evening the day before the trip, contacting online customer service several times. However, the tour group staff didn't contact me or mention pick-up. Around 8 PM, I directly complained to online customer service (because the platform's cancellation policy is before 7 PM the day before, which essentially meant I had no choice!). Shortly after the complaint, the tour group staff contacted me via WeChat to confirm pick-up and drop-off at the meeting point. The tour guide was very responsible throughout, explaining a lot about Yunnan and Kunming, and was very patient. Because there were too many tourist attractions and photo spots, the pace was fast, and only the highlights were covered. If you want to spend time taking photos at the attractions, this tour might not be suitable. As for the food, both the presentation and taste need significant improvement.

One of the most enjoyable trips I've taken was to the Stone Forest, a historical site with breathtaking views among the rocks. The cave itself held surprises, such as a cable car, a boat ride on the river, waterfall views, and the opportunity to explore the cave's interior. The tour leader was incredibly helpful and patient despite our lack of language skills, explaining everything clearly. She also assisted me with non-tour-related matters like phone calls and other things.

Our driver and guide was Master Gu Meilian who contacted me with details of the tour efficiently. She was great in getting to know our pace and needs. She introduced us to translation and location apps so we could communicate and know where to meet up. We had a great time at Shilin! Later on, she took us to local specialty restaurant for lunch, stop at tea shop to have a drink of tea and short stroll at Kunming old city before dropping us safely back at hotel. We are very satisfied with this tour.

The schedule was well managed in advance of the booking. Since the city tour was included, they asked about the places I wanted to visit and actively reflected my preferences. The driver arrived at the hotel earlier than the scheduled time for pickup, and the condition of the vehicle was excellent. Although the driver did not speak English, he made a great effort to communicate using a translation app. The scenery at 석림 was absolutely amazing. There is a lot of walking involved, so comfortable sneakers are a must. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also essential. When I mentioned that I wanted to try local food, the driver recommended a mushroom soup, which was delicious. In particular, the cheese-like dish made from cow’s milk is a must-try. Traffic congestion in Kunming is quite severe. It is better to avoid visiting the Douyin Flower Market on weekends. and consider other city attractions instead.
