When booking, we weren't aware it was a group tour, which meant our itinerary differed from most others. The tour guide, perhaps inexperienced, couldn't manage two routes effectively, leading to constant scheduling problems. Fortunately, we managed to complete the trip smoothly according to the original plan.
Anji is beautiful and definitely worth a visit! The hot springs are entirely man-made; soaking in them while walking on snow on a nice day is amazing.
One more thing I must mention: lunch in Anji was originally optional, with the tour guide saying the group meal was faster and more affordable at 35 yuan per person. We didn't book it, intending to order from the same restaurant, but the restaurant owner was rude and seemed only interested in group bookings. We ended up eating at a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be much better – we got to eat local specialties and it was cheaper than the group meal for four people. I also encountered a few people from another group who were sharing a table. They hadn't participated in the group meal, and they said their group meal cost 30 yuan per person. I don't need to elaborate on the shady dealings involved, but I'm writing this down for everyone's reference.

This is great! It's perfect for traveling all over Yamaguchi and Hiroshima. It's incredibly good value. A round trip on the Shinkansen from Fukuoka and Hiroshima alone makes it more than worth it. Buying tickets through the Trips app is fantastic!

I went on a tour to a place that's difficult to reach by public transport! Our guide, Nanami, spoke Japanese, English, and Chinese, and explained the sights in an easy-to-understand and enjoyable way! It was a very satisfying and fun day!
