San was our very helpful, knowledgeable, kind and observant guide. I felt completely safe and knew our driver Phearom was also mindful of helping us understand what we were seeing and get the best local treats along the route. It’s a long day but completely worth it with all you see and do. We came away feeling that we saw and learned much more about Cambodian life, history, language and kind people than if we had just stayed in Siem Reap. Waking around ancient, not touristy, temple ruins. Visiting local market and government building. Watching rice paper for spring rolls being made (and eating some!). Flying down tracks, through small town and countryside on bamboo train. Mesmerized by bats escaping cliff with huge Buddha stone carvings. Eating so many different treats. Meeting lots of kind local people. Don’t miss! Ar-kohn to San and Phearom.★
