Enjoyable way to spend half a day at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended. At the Canyon do take a boat ride even though the cave was not as special as my photo might suggest but the boat ride itself is still worth it. In case you are tempted by the roast sweet corn (nice) at the canyon they are 100d each whereas in the city they are 60-70d.

The stalactites and stalagmites highlighted by multicolored lights, underground lakes and the path through the picturesque Matka canyon to this beautiful place will appeal to all nature lovers. The kind and knowledgeable guide Lena told a lot about Skopje - its history, architecture and people, and also recommended places to see for myself. If you don't know where to have a lunch, feel free to ask that too. Thank you Lena!

The guide Vladimir is a very knowlegable and kind person that will with details explain things related to the canyon and its surroundings as well as all the additional information about Skopje and Noth Macedonia overall, defenitely recommend!

This tour was amazing! Our tour guide Charko Jordan was extremely professional and tought us everything we needed to know about Macedonian history, culture and nature. Matka Canyon looked as beautiful as in the pictures. We took the boat trip to the cave and then back again. After Matka we went to the mountains and first visited a village there, and then we ended out tour with the cabelcar to the cross.


