I’m currently on a country hopping tour throughout southeast Europe and the Balkans and I don’t have much time to see things in each destination. I had only 1 day to see what the city of Sofia was about and I’m glad I booked this tour to do it. Petar was my tour guide and he did an excellent job guiding me throughout the city showing me the top landmarks and buildings of interest all while sharing his valuable knowledge about the history of Sofia and Bulgaria in general so a big thank you to him! I saw many famous Sofia landmarks during this tour including the St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, Saint Sofia Church, Ivan Vazov National Theater,
Ancient Serdica Archaeological Complex, The Presidency Building, Central Hall, The Rotunda Church of St George, Vitosha Boulevard and more. It’s all walking tour so make sure you bring comfortable shoes, water if needed, and sunscreen if it’s going to be sunny out. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to see Sofia in 1 day. Very good guide. Highly experienced and knowledgeable. She was always explaining us about sights, sites, even things nice like stork' nests on the chimneys of the countryside houses.

We had an excellent trip to Sofia from Skopje. Our driver picked us up right on time, was friendly, and safely drove us the three and a half hours to Sofia.
We picked up our guide in Sofia and had a lovely walking tour. We saw beautiful churches, government buildings, the changing of the guards and natural spring fountains. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke excellent English. A highlight for us was a stop at a mountain monastery on the way back. I would highly recommend this day trip!
