Reviews: Yala National Park Safari Tours - Half Day & Full Day
Guest User2025-11-17
We were six people and did the full-day tour with ranger Damith today. It was absolutely amazing! We saw many elephants, two leopards and loads of other wildlife. Damith really took his time to explore Yala National Park with us. Even though there were many jeeps with tourists at the start, he really managed to take us to more remote spots where we could enjoy the beauty of Yala in peace. He stopped often and long enough so that we had plenty of time to admire the wildlife and take some pictures. Damith also provided a lot of information about the animals and could answer all our questions. He also showed a lot of respect towards the wildlife (no chasing, keeping distance, driving backwards to give the animals enough space, turning off the car engine…) Included in the tour were also breakfast and lunch: local food and very delicious! I would absolutely recommend this tour, especially with Damith! He is an awesome ranger, knows a lot about the wildlife and is very funny. Total cost of the tour per person: 18.000 LKR (11.000 LKR: park entrance fee + 7.000 LKR: tour, food and water incl.)
Reviews: Private Trip to Sigiriya, Dambulla & safari from Colombo/ Negombo

It's fine, a four-hour drive there and back isn't right, but for Sri Lanka it's still okay, although we're behind the times, with a lot of mafia and theft. Everyone's pocketing it. It's scum. Drivers and guides are pulling you out of trouble. Trip.com from Hong Kong is okay, but it's going to end soon. Your service is like pet food.

Sterlin is an amazing person and a wonderful guide! He is very knowledgeable about the history of Sri Lanka and could answer any questions that I had. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated his photography skills and he took stunning photos for me! I felt like he was an older brother who looked out for me and gave great recommendations about food and things to do at other cities. He is extremely kind and patient even when I took ages shopping for gems and tea. Highly recommend him to everyone but especially to solo travellers! He will make sure that you are 100% safe and enjoy your time in Colombo! He has also helped me plan out my trips for the next couple of days in Kandy and Ella too! Really pleased to have booked another tour with him! I have been on many tours in many countries but this was by far the best one ever! Thank you for everything!
Reviews: Sri Lanka 5G eSIM | Supports ChatGPT & TikTok | 1–30 Days | Instant QR

I had heard that physical SIM cards were the only option in Sri Lanka. My husband had to wait in line at the airport to buy a Dialog SIM card, and I bought this one. During our stay, we went to Sigiriya, Elephant Safari, Hikkaduwa, Colombo, and many other places, but we didn't experience any bad signal. Hotel Wi-Fi in Sri Lanka is weak, so an eSIM or SIM card is recommended. Since there's a line for Dialog, this eSIM was ultimately the best option.

Super nice experience. I asked quite late in the evening if a safari was possible for tomorrow. I received a very quick response and it was quickly arranged. We were picked up at our hotel by Amila. He was the driver and guide. He explained everything well. He quickly spotted many animals and gave fun facts. He knew a lot and was enthusiastic. We were able to see many animals up close, including the leopard
