Booking the Swiss Travel Pass on Ctrip was very convenient and even offered discounts. After booking, I printed out the QR code and carried it with me, and also downloaded a backup app on my phone. This made it very easy to have the ticket inspector scan the QR code when I encountered a ticket check. The pass was a bit pricey when I bought it, but the benefits were incredible. It allows unlimited travel on trains, buses, subways, boats, and cable cars (some offer discounts), and free admission to museums, making my trip to Switzerland incredibly convenient. I encountered ticket checks on trains, buses, and boats, so don't take chances; always buy a ticket.

The itinerary was great. After exchanging tickets at the meeting point, we boarded the bus at the time we purchased. It was essentially a sightseeing bus with commentary (in English). Afterwards, we took a boat trip to see the lake scenery. Tickets for the chocolate factory were sold out on the official website, so I bought this instead. It was a good experience.
