Reviews: Symi: Bus Excursions to Panormitis Monastery

As described. After reading the reviews we were aware the guide was going to be Greek. This did not spoil the trip but would have been good to get a print information sheet in English or something similar.

We highly recommend booking this, the scenery on the trip is surreal. Symi and St George's Bay were outstanding. The whole experience was smooth and relaxed, the boat is smooth even on waves. We would like to thank the captain and the crew on our boat. Very patient and polite checking everyone is ok. We had a few people not listening when asked to not swim by the boat and they kept their cool whilst informing them. We enjoyed it so much we will definitely book it again if we return. Thank you!

Full day excursion with boat transfer from Rhodes to Symi Island. 1st stop at Panormitis Monastery (1 hour) then travelling along East side of the Island taking in the stunning backdrop of St George Bay and then onto the main town Gialos where you get at least 3 and 1/2 hours free time to take in the sights. All in all a great day visiting Symi, would recommend going through Manos Going as everything is so smooth and easy when booking with them. We stayed in Rhodes for 10 nights and booked 3 excursions with Manos Going and all 3 trips were fantastic and great value. Honestly if you are staying in Rhodes then use Manos Going you won’t be disappointed. Also booked a sailing cruise through them and that was a brilliant day out too… thanks guys you made our holiday to Rhodes that extra bit special…Mr James and Mrs Debbie

Reviews: Rhodes: Cruise to Symi & St George's Bay with Hotel Transfer
Guest User2026-10-14
From start to finish it was an incredible day & completely worth the £47 each! Our hotel transfer was on time & where it said it would be, we were dropped off opposite the docks, where we were clearly directed to our ticket collection. Boat boarding was speedy & they made sure to wait for people still in the queue for ticket collections. The trip itself was gorgeous, smooth crossing for the whole hour each way - guides were happy to answer questions and were clear when people needed to be seated (choppy stretches/ docking ect). Clear departure times from Symi too so there was no chance of missing the boat. We were given rain ponchos because the weather looked like it was changing. Luckily we didn’t need them, but they came in very handy for the next couple of stormy days!! George’s bay was beautiful too. There were pool noodles available if you wanted the extra support for swimming. And fleeces were offered for the return trip if you were cold. Polite & friendly guides, and a day
