This was a great day trip, we really enjoyed ourselves and got a lot out of it! Our guide Julio was amazing, so knowledgeable about the area and history. And he spoke four languages to make sure everyone understood everything. He guided us through the imperial museum with interesting historical information to give context to what we were looking at. Lunch was a buffet with good quality food and huge variety. We finished up outside the house of Alberto Santos Dumont which we did not know much about - look him up and spend a bit of time there, our only regret of the day is skipping that because of the weather and eating extra chocolate at the cafe! We saw and learned a lot about Petropolis, and it was a big day with great value!

We travelled to the boat ourselves (inexpensive). Upon arrival, there were five of us on board with the skipper. The guide was incredibly friendly. Drinks were free throughout the entire tour, as much as we wanted. At the end, we were even allowed to take something with us for the journey home. Fantastic! I would definitely do it again!

I'm so glad I got to do this activity! The instructors communicated really well via WhatsApp, and the meeting point was clear. Their infectious enthusiasm (baby 🤙🏼) made the activity so much more exciting, plus we got to choose which video to watch at the end (one of them was free). Thank you all! ☀️

Absolutely loved the boat tour! I recommend it to everyone, the hosts were super friendly, the snacks and drinks were great too! I would go back 10 more times!


