There was nothing wrong with the itinerary, lunch and tour guide, but the attractions in Hue were really lacking. The Imperial City was not even a poor man's version of the Forbidden City. Maybe Vietnam is just a country of this size.

Hue is definitely a city worth visiting. I took a group tour, which was cost-effective, and still managed to see the main attractions, such as the Great Palace and the Tomb of Khai Dinh. Lunch was fine, and the guide was very helpful.
