Reviews: The Best Halong Bay Day Cruises With Packages Including Buffet Lunch, Kayaking, Tickets

The tour was perfect from start to finish. We were met by our guide Kenny, who accompanied us throughout the entire trip, sharing lots of useful information and historical facts! The comfortable bus seats 19, as promised. The drive to the bay takes about 3 hours, but the time flew by. A buffet was already waiting at the Sonata! A large selection of seafood, everything was sooo delicious. Drinks are paid, but you can take them with you in glass bottles. The first stop was Titov Island. You can also climb to the top, where you can enjoy stunning views of the bay, or you can swim. We did both. The second stop was a choice of kayaking, a bamboo boat, or a speedboat. Tickets for the kayaking and boat are already included in the price; there was no extra charge. The speedboat is paid. We went on a bamboo boat - it was fun 👌🏼. The third stop was a visit to the caves. The sheer scale was truly breathtaking! On the way back, Sonata offered us treats—fruit, cakes, and juice. We enjoyed hearing the folk instrument being played. Everything was fantastic! A perfectly organized trip.★

The boat was fine, and the meals and bus rides were decent. I would like to thank the guide! My hotel was located in a secluded area, so I had to go out to the main road, but the guide came to pick me up. I needed to catch the 10 am train to Sapa, but we arrived in Hanoi after 9 pm. The roads were really congested and chaotic, but thanks to the guide dropping us off close to the hotel, we were able to catch the train. Thank you so much! Personally, I think the itineraries are similar across different companies; the difference lies in the guide. They take good care of you. I recommend them!★

Was picked up in a regular car with 4 other passengers. Drove 20 minutes to the black mini van, changed cars, drove for about 2 hours in the mini van with 1 pit stop. Overall, everything was smooth.
