I traveled to Hanoi and Sapa (January 15-18, 2026) and the signal was great. There might be some slowdowns in higher mountainous areas, but it was very rare. I chose the 100GB/day plan and could use it extensively, watching TikTok all day without worrying about running out of data. It was easy to install; I used it as soon as I arrived at the airport without needing to change SIM cards.

I installed it in a couple of minutes before boarding the plane. Upon arrival, everything was connected and working. Just remember to turn on roaming. So far, so good, no complaints, good speed. I've got a 5-day lease, but I might extend it.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
