We booked the tour for the bamboo rafting experience. What a surprise, the rafts were made of plastic pipes, and it only took 40 minutes of the eight-hour trip. The travel took up a lot of time. Nowhere in the tour did it indicate that the excursion began in Yangshou, not Guilin, where we were staying. A car with eight people picked us up, even though it was supposed to be a tour bus. The car's windows were low, not panoramic, so we had to bend over to see the natural beauty.
