Jiulong Cave is the core part of Baiyun Mountain in Ningde Global Geopark, hailed as a natural "pothole museum". Its breathtaking view features a spectacular stretch of rock mills (potholes) along the valley, formed over hundreds of millions of years by water flow carrying gravel that continuously rotated and eroded the granite bedrock. These geological wonders come in astonishing shapes like vats, basins, and hearts. The cave's single rock mill, "Flying Well", stands approx. 60 m tall with majestic grandeur. The winding interconnected caves, where light and water sounds intertwine, offer both scientific research and scenic value.Fu'an · 18.6 km from downtown

It belongs to the Lingshan Mountains, just at the foot of the seventy-two peaks of Lingshan. The valley is remote and quiet, the stream is jubilant, and the pebbles are flying waterfalls. In the Vagoo, you can enjoy the folk customs, landscape and humanities of the Gan family, experience the long farming culture of our country, taste delicious food, and live a slow life for a few days. Taimu Mountain

The natural scenery of Taimu Mountain Scenic Area can be summarized in four words: "mountains," "sea," "rivers," and "islands." Taimu Mountain is a UNESCO Global Geopark, a national scenic area, a 5A-level tourist attraction, and a national natural heritage site. Located on the coast of the East China Sea, legend has it that immortals from the East Sea gather here annually, earning it the reputation as the "Fairy Capital on the Sea." It is renowned for its four unique features: perilous peaks, peculiar rocks, secluded caves, and mystical mist. "The clouds traverse the perilous cliffs" is a vivid depiction of the extraordinary peaks of Taimu Mountain. The mountain is dotted with 54 peaks, including the Nine Carp Facing Heaven Peak and the Eighteen Arhats Peak, which rise steeply and majestically, forming a breathtaking geological gallery. The remarkable rocks of Taimu Mountain are all lifelike and exquisitely crafted. Over 360 awe-inspiring rock formations, such as the Couple Peak, Immortal Sawing Board, and Golden Turtle Climbing the Wall, make visitors feel as if they've stepped into a sculpture art exhibition hall. No wonder ancient poets wrote, "No ordinary stones exist in Taimu, each seems divinely carved, revealing boundless wonders as one's heart desires." Beneath the towering peaks lies a network of over 100 granite caves resembling an underground labyrinth. Large caves contain smaller ones, interconnected in a complex web of winding passages that create a rare geological wonder among the world's famous mountains. This breathtaking granite cave system astonishes visitors with its intricate maze-like formations. Ascend to the peak and gaze at the East China Sea, where mountains enhance the vastness of the sea, and the sea adds grandeur to the mountains. Sometimes, sea fog surges and billows, while at other times, thousands of sails dot the boundless blue waves, ever-changing and unpredictable, as if entering a fairyland that makes one linger. Additionally, the attraction has developed a "via ferrata" climbing project. The Taimu Mountain via ferrata project features four climbing routes of varying difficulty to meet the needs of different groups, ensuring everyone has a blast. Taimu Mountain's sea area is nearly 10 times larger than its land territory, featuring a winding and undulating coastline. At the foot of Taimu Mountain lies the Qingchuan Seaside attraction, where over 30 km of coastline is dotted with numerous golden, soft, and pristine beaches. Among them, Niulanggang Beach stands out with its flat, clean surface, surrounded by lush green mountains and uniquely shaped rock formations, making it a perfect seaside destination for family trips, vacations, and leisure travel. At Niulanggang, you can listen to the symphony of waves and rocks. Meanwhile, Xiaobailu Seaside Resort offers wide beaches with soft sand, gentle slopes, and calm waves, blending fishing culture...Fuding · 53 km from Fu'an

Huangling Ancient Village is a typical mountain village, Souvenir by thousands of ancient trees and tens of thousands of acres of terraced fields, creating a idyllic mountain life like a paradise. It has a beautiful natural environment and rich history and culture. It is a famous historical and cultural village in ancient Huizhou. The ancient village of Huangling hangs on the cliff, and the ground is not flat for three feet. For hundreds of years, the villagers have been accustomed to "communicating" with the rugged terrain with a peaceful mentality, painting a picture of "people drying their crops in the sun in autumn". In March, rapeflowers are in full bloom on tens of thousands of acres of terraced fields in Huangling, dotted with pink peach blossoms and snow-white pear blossoms, forming a beautiful ink painting. Here, you can become one with nature and have close contact with the sea of flowers. At the end of March, the second phase of Huangrapeling Gaoling Terraced Fields Flower Sea came online. Due to the large altitude difference, low temperature, and late-maturing rapeseed varieties, the flowering period is relatively late, and the second phase of the flower sea can last until mid-April. Come to Huangling in summer and start a wonderful summer night trip. Take a look at the night view of the ancient village, feel the sunset glow of Huangling, the lights of thousands of houses, walk on the country road with the dancing and circling 100-meter-long dragon, stroll in the quaint streets with a lantern, feel the romance of the magic forest, watch a retro old movie at the entrance of the village, and visit the cool market in the countryside. As soon as the beginning of autumn arrives, the ancient village of Huangling becomes a drying field. Come to the people who dry autumn leaves to admire the red maple leaves, enjoy the autumn leaves drying on the roof, the maple forest is dyed red, experience the folk customs, hand-cranked windmills, pumpkin traps, etc., and feel the nostalgic charm of the people who dry autumn leaves. In winter, every household in Huangling is busy drying and processing traditional local specialties for New Year's goods. The roofs are full of preserved meat customs, "drying" folk customs and "celebrating" the harvest, which means a bumper harvest in the New Year. With the arrival of the Winter Solstice, the Huangling Folk Culture Festival begins and lasts until the Lantern Festival next year. Here, you can listen to operas, visit the market, taste food, and taste the folk customs of the New Year; bask in the warm sun, cook tea around the stove, enjoy the elegant winter things, invite family and friends to take a health-preserving warm soup, and enjoy a winter-limited snow scene. In Huangling, you can enjoy the beautiful rural scenery and experience the modern urban life. You can see the exquisite and simple Huizhou century-old houses as well as the fashion and elegance of star-rated hotels. In Huangling, tourists can not only taste authentic folk snacks such as steamed cakes, Qingming fruit, gray juice fruit, etc., but also participate in the whole process of making folk snacks and handicrafts.China · Wuyuan

Jiulongjian Waterfall is located 13 kilometers southeast of Zhouning County. Longjiang River falls layer by layer between dangerous cliffs, forming a nine-level waterfall group with a drop of nearly 300 meters. It is one of the more famous natural landscapes in Zhouning County, and tourists from Souvenir often come here on weekends to enjoy the water and get close to nature. The whole journey of Jiulong Waterfall takes about 1-2 hours. The scenery is more spectacular after rain or in seasons with abundant rain. The entire trail is built along the water flow. After walking through a small bamboo forest, you can walk down the wooden steps to the bottom of the valley. The ninth waterfall, Longkou Waterfall, is right in front of you. Continue walking up along the plank road beside the waterfall. There is a small pavilion every few sections for tourists to watch the waterfall and rest. Along the way, you can watch the different postures of each waterfall in turn. The third and fourth waterfalls have a drop of 7 meters and a width of more than 50 meters. The fifth waterfall is divided into two halves by a huge rock, also known as the "Dragon Tooth Waterfall". The sixth to ninth waterfalls are "four-fold waterfalls", also known as "four-fold waterfalls", with a drop of about 60 meters. The waterfalls are connected and closely linked. Behind the trail is the bottom of the Jiulong Waterfall Valley, which is also the most spectacular waterfall among the waterfalls - the Jiulong Waterfall, which is 80 meters wide and nearly 50 meters high, and is very spectacular.Zhouning · 26.6 km from Fu'an

Wuyishan National Park is located in the northern section of the Wuyishan mountain range in northwestern Fujian, stretching across the border area between Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. It is one of China's first established national parks, and Wuyishan itself was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for both culture and nature as early as 1999. The park was formed by integrating the former Wuyishan National Nature Reserve and Wuyishan Scenic Area: the Tongmu area in the north focuses on ecological conservation and scientific research, preserving a rare intact mid-subtropical forest ecosystem at this latitude. The main peak of the Wuyishan range, Mount Huanggang, is also located here, and this core area does not offer regular tourism activities. Sightseeing activities are concentrated in the scenic areas along both banks of the Nine-bend Stream, namely the four major sections: Tianyou Peak to Taoyuan Cave, Nine-bend Stream to Wuyi Palace, One-line Sky to Tiger Roaring Rock, and Dahongpao to Water Curtain Cave. The attractions in the scenic area are relatively scattered with considerable distance between them. A leisurely visit typically requires two to three days. If you only have one day, start by ascending Tianyou Peak for a panoramic view of the emerald waters and crimson mountains along the Nine-bend Stream, then take a bamboo raft downstream from Xingcun Wharf. Along the way, you'll pass landmarks like Jade Maiden Peak, Great King Peak, cliff inscriptions, and suspended boat coffins. The rafting journey ends at Wuyi Palace, making it an ideal classic route. Tea enthusiasts may prefer spending time on the leisurely Rock Bone Floral Trail between Dahongpao and Water Curtain Cave. This gentle path connects core Wuyi rock tea production areas like Liuxiangjian and Huiyuankeng, offering a uniquely fragrant experience. With two days, you can cover all four major sections. For more time, consider visiting the ancient tea merchants' residences in Xiamei Village, the starting point of the ancient Tea Horse Road, or exploring the ruins of the Minyue King's City near Chengcun Village—the latter also being part of Wuyishan's world heritage site. Bamboo rafting is very popular, so please make arrangements in advance during peak season. To get close to the ecological heart of the park, you can take the Wuyishan National Park No. 1 scenic route. Places like Moon Bay and Qinglong Waterfall are suitable for self-drive or private charter. As for food, street snacks like flat meat dumplings and Vietnamese noodles are common, while Langu smoked goose and local dishes cooked with alpine bamboo shoots and mushrooms are also worth trying.China · Wuyishan

Liancun is the hometown of Xue Lingzhi, the "first Jinshi in Fujian" in the Tang Dynasty. The village name was conferred by Emperor Suzong of the Tang Dynasty. It is a traditional rural village with "integrity culture" as its core, with Ming and Qing architectural style, ancient commercial port characteristics, traditional castle defense and a complete clan settlement system. Liancun was once an inland port leading to the sea, and a water and land hub and material distribution center connecting northeastern Fujian and southern Zhejiang. There are still two large and small docks in Muyang Creek to the east of the village. In the Ming Dynasty, villagers built a city wall to defend against Japanese pirates, which was called "Liancun Fort". The ancient fort is full of ancient official roads with stone strips and stones inlaid into patterns such as Bagua, Tai Chi, and wheat ears. There are still 26 Ming and Qing residential houses and 4 Qing Dynasty temples on both sides of the official road.

Half a day is enough. You can choose to visit Niulanggang Seaside Park nearby. If you want to go to Yushan Island, it is more cost-effective to buy a combined ticket. Yipianwa and Jigerendong are good experiences. The seaside boardwalk is nothing special. Overall, it is okay.

Huangling is a rather unique scenic area, offering views of 500-year-old Hui-style architecture nestled in the valley, perfect for taking photos. It has its own charm on sunny and rainy days. However, it currently feels quite commercialized, with some of the ancient buildings being renovated, which has diminished their original character. The Huaxi Water Street also feels somewhat artificial. The service at the coffee shop was rather average, with staff not being particularly enthusiastic, but since we were already there, what more could we ask for? Just having fun is what matters.

It was quite nice to go in the summer; the waterfall was really big and interesting. However, it's inconvenient that you can't buy one-way tickets for the shuttle bus. But Zhouning isn't too hot, so walking around and breathing in the mountain air is nice.

There's no excessive commercialization, and the bamboo raft boatmen are quite interesting and don't charge extra. A special shout-out to the "One Line Sky"! Having climbed countless "One Line Skys" across the country, only this one is truly authentic!! A place where you can calmly focus on the scenery, a truly peaceful and beautiful landscape.
