Things to do in Genhe

This place feels like a primeval forest, mysterious and rugged. My husband and I enjoyed our first road trip to the scenic area. We drove along a road dotted with little red flags, enjoying the forests, lawns, wildflowers, and streams along the way. It was beautiful! It's said to be the largest wetland in Hulunbuir and well worth a visit. It's very close to Genhe City, but don't be mistaken; it's easy to find the Ergun Wetland online, but it's far from Genhe. The park offers a resort, reindeer trekking, rafting, and more.

大兴安岭地区位于祖国版图的"金鸡之冠"、黑龙江版图的"天鹅之首"，是祖国最北部边疆。地处黑龙江省西北部，内蒙古自治区东北部从黑河出发很快进入大兴安岭区域，茫茫森海，无穷无尽，让人开车有种窒息感，到达北极村、漠河、根河，直至呼伦贝尔大草原，才终于结束森林穿行，草原行车显然让人更舒适和放松，但大兴安岭的美，确实让人陶醉，这样的穿行会留在记忆中久久不忘！

China's Coldest Village belongs to Genhe City, located in the north of Hulunbuir Prairie in Inner Mongolia. It is the coldest place in China. Records show that the lowest temperature ever recorded was minus 58 degrees Celsius, which is several degrees lower than the Arctic Village in Mohe, Heilongjiang.

Aoluguya is inhabited by descendants of the Ewenki prehistoric tribe, who have been raising reindeer for generations. Reindeer are known as the boat of the forest and the legendary four-in-one. China's last hunting tribe is the only ethnic minority in China that raises reindeer. They hide in the snowy forests of the Greater Khingan Range, survive in extreme conditions of more than 40 degrees below zero, and stick to the most primitive hunting methods and keep reindeer company. Various signs and ways of thinking of the primitive and clan communes are still partially preserved among them. Watch the customs of the ancient Ewenki hunters, taste deer milk wine, and watch Santa Claus' mount in the animation - reindeer. Get close to the reindeer. 38 kilometers away from Mangui Town is the Iksama Scenic Area. "Iksama" is the Ewenki language, which means "beautiful and wide river" in Chinese. Iksama Resort is located on the east side of the Iksama Bridge, built by the mountains and rivers. The resort has wooden houses, yurts, swimming pools, wildlife parks, forest rest gardens, etc. There is a big willow tree in the center of the resort. It is a single tree that blocks out the sun and can be used by tourists to cool off in summer. About 25 kilometers north of the Iksama Resort, there is a very rare Siberian red pine in the Greater Khingan Range. There are 61 trees in total, all of which are middle-aged forests. Siberian red pine is a famous tree species in the cold temperate coniferous forests of Eurasia and can be called the "King of Taiga". When they were discovered in the early 1950s, they were mistaken for red pines. It was not until Professor Zhao Guangyi of Northeast Forestry University and others conducted nearly a decade of intensive research that they were confirmed to be Siberian red pines. They are revered as "sacred trees" by the Ewenki people. Whenever an Ewenki passes by, they hang various ornaments on the trees and pay homage to them. The origin of these more than 60 Siberian red pines remains a mystery.

After completion, the Daxinganling Forest Industry Culture Park will not only provide citizens with facilities and space for entertainment, viewing and learning, but the park's greening will mostly use local tree species and wild flowers, fully reflecting the natural landscape characteristics of our city. It will also become a landmark scenic spot to attract tourists.

Karuben means "a place with treasures" in Oroqen language. Karuben Wetland Park is located in the Kangdaling Forest Farm of Delpur Forestry Bureau in Inner Mongolia. It is one of the few forest scenic spots in Hulunbuir that has not been commercially developed.

Several months have passed, and now I'm in Xinjiang. I've visited some more scenic spots, but when I think back to the Morigele Grassland in Hulunbuir, the winding, meandering river, the different viewpoints, the smooth scenic roads, and the scenery along the way are all unforgettable!
