Cat Ba Island
Cat Ba Island covers an area of 146 square kilometers and is the largest island in Halong Bay. Cat Ba Island is home to a vast, boundless primeval forest, which the Vietnam government has designated as a national nature reserve: Cat Ba National Park. The forests of Cat Ba Island are rich in valuable timber and rare animals, such as the white-wood tree, frankincense tree, Cat Ba langur, and golden monkey, while the nearby waters are abundant in cuttlefish, sea shrimp, abalone, sea cucumber, squid, sardines, and oysters. The park covers an area of approx. 150 km², and it is home to some unique rare flora and fauna, the most famous of which is the Cat Ba langur. Although the outer attractions have completely lost their rustic charm, reaching the pristine heart of the park takes at least a full day and requires significant physical strength and perseverance. The Fighting Cock Rock is located on the south side of Mutou Island, about 800 meters away from the Incense Burner Rock. Two small rocky mountains about 12 meters high look like a pair of large chickens with their wings spread, standing face to face separated by a narrow trench. The two rocky mountains were chosen as the most unique image of Halong Bay. The Fighting Cock Rock was chosen as the symbol of Vietnam's tourism industry in 2000.

The cave is about 60 meters long, with a bow-shaped entrance. When the tide is high or low, the height of the cave is about 2.5 to 4 meters. When the tide is low, you can take a small boat or speedboat to enter the interior, just like entering a city wall, immersive, and a sense of isolation. After entering, you will suddenly feel enlightened. There is a different world inside the cave. You can see groups of monkeys on the circular rock wall, which feels like an adventure.
