Hermann's Memorial
Hermann's Memorial is a historic statue commemorating the ancient Germanic chieftain Arminius (also known as Hermann). Built in the 19th century and designed by architect Ernst von Bandel, the monument was completed in 1875 to commemorate the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest (Schlacht im Teutoburger Wald) in 9 AD, in which Arminius led Germanic tribes to defeat the Roman legions. The place is beautiful and the whole experience with audio book is amazing. It usually takes around 1 hour and 30 min to see the palace thoroughly. The staff was amazing and the place was tidy and really capturing
