Wunvshan Scenic Spot
Wunvshan Scenic Spot is located 8.5 km north of Huanren county in eastern Liaoning Province, adjacent to Huanlong Lake, with its main peak at an elevation of 823 m. It boasts a unique geographical location, majestic mountain scenery, breathtaking views, diverse flora, and delightful fauna. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a national 5A-level attraction, one of China's famous mountains, the first capital city of the ancient Goguryeo Kingdom in China's northern frontier, a national key cultural relics protection unit, and one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in China. Historical relics coexist with natural scenery in the attraction. The Wunvshan Scenic Spot mountain fortress is large in scale, magnificent in grandeur, and complete in system. In terms of city layout, wall construction, and stone processing, it highlights the outstanding wisdom and superb architectural skills of the Goguryeo people, pioneering the construction of mountain fortresses by the Goguryeo nation and exerting a profound influence on later Goguryeo architecture and even Northeast Asian architectural techniques. Inside and outside the mountain fortress, numerous early Goguryeo relics have been discovered, including the ruins of palaces, barracks, granaries, and heavenly pools. Having weathered over 2000 years of vicissitudes, these sites evoke deep reflections on the past and present, stirring endless emotions. Wunvshan Scenic Spot boasts not only profound cultural significance but also breathtaking natural views. The mountain features misty peaks, ancient pines in secluded valleys, a stream of white clouds, and refreshing breezes. The Feilai Peak stands uniquely, as if descending from the heavens; the Hero Pine grows against the mountain, evoking a heroic spirit; the One-Line Sky showcases nature's craftsmanship, with sheer cliffs on both sides reaching depths of 31 m and narrowing to 0.65 m—gazing upward reveals only a sliver of blue sky. From the General's Platform, one can admire the vast expanse of Huanlong Lake to the east and the mystical Taiji Diagram to the south. In misty rain, the verdant mountains and emerald waters resemble a delicate ink wash painting. At the foot of Wunvshan Scenic Spot, a new large museum covering 3,400 m² has been built. It showcases over 600 precious artifacts unearthed from the Wunvshan mountain city through various forms such as multimedia, phantom imaging, scene restoration, and electronic books. Wangtian Cave
The Watching Sky Cave, located near the Wanchuan Village, Yahe Township, Huanren County, Benxi City, 10 km away from Huanren County. The total length of the cave can reach more than 5,000 meters and it is divided into three layers. At present, the layer that has been developed is the middle, with the main cave in the Watching Sky Cave Scenic Area being the Azure Dragon Cave. The cave is full of crystal clear stalactites, displaying the magic of nature. At the end of the cave there is an empty hall. Fenglingu Forest Park
Fenglin Valley Forest Park is located in the southern part of Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, with an area of 2,583 hectares. It is located in the remnant of Changbai Mountain, surrounded by mountains on three sides. The peak is 1,288 meters high, which is one of the few peaks above 1,000 meters in Liaoning. The Attraction was officially opened to the public in 2013. The scenic Attraction has excellent ecology, abundant streams, beautiful red leaves, and convenient transportation. It is a good choice for red leaf sightseeing, summer vacation, and leisure and health preservation. Fenglin Valley is a "pure land" far away from the city. The Attraction area is located in a remote mountainous area and has maintained its original ecosystem for a long time, with a forest coverage rate of up to 98.75%. Huguxia Scenic Area
Huguxia Scenic Area is located at the junction of Yahe Township and Xiangyang Township in the southeast of Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, 26 kilometers away from the county seat, in Michanggou Heping Village, Yahe Township. Formerly known as Laohudonggou and Laohushao, it is now called Huguxia. Laohushao was known as one of the top ten scenic spots in Huanren at that time. The Huguxia Scenic Area is composed of mountains, water, islands, lakes and historical sites. Marshal Zhang's Mansion Museum was built in 1914 and covers an area of 53,000 square meters. Huanren Wangtian Cave truly deserves its reputation as the premier karst cave in Northern China! The naturally formed cave landscape boasts stalactites and stalagmites in countless shapes and forms, creating a stunning atmosphere under the lighting. It's a large natural karst cave rarely seen in Northeast China. The stalactite formations are breathtaking, the cave's maze is quite fun to explore, and the cave itself is refreshingly cool. A full visit takes about an hour and a half, and the view of the sky looking up from the cave entrance is truly unique.

The Maple Valley during this National Day holiday was breathtakingly beautiful. The forests were ablaze with color, a vibrant tapestry of greens, yellows, oranges, and reds, making every snapshot a masterpiece. We leisurely climbed the mountain, taking photos and resting when we got tired. We spent about five hours there, still wanting more. Later, we went to Laobiangou, Dashihu, and Guanmenshan, but we still felt the maple leaves in Maple Valley were the most beautiful. If you want to take more photos and enjoy the scenery, bring some snacks, as there aren't many places to eat within the scenic area.

There are mountains and water, the price is reasonable, and the scenery is charming, especially when you stand on the top of the mountain and look at the distant scenery. It is so beautiful. After buying the ticket, take a boat to the mountain first, and then take a boat back when you come back. It is a very good place.

The first rafting in Northeast China, the kids love it, the scenic area is also quite large, in addition to Longxi Valley and rafting, there are also a horror city and a small water park. But the rafting is open for too short hours every day, from 10am to 3pm. It's OK for northerners, but southerners just start to have morning tea at 1pm. It is recommended that the scenic area extend its business hours, after all, it doesn't get dark until after 6pm in summer, if the business hours are extended by two hours, how much more customers will be added?

It was so hot! Many rooms didn't have air conditioning. We hired a tour guide, and there were so many people in our group. The guide's stories were quite interesting, but it was just so incredibly hot! 🥵

The ancient architecture in Shenyang is a must-see. I loved it; it's full of images of princesses and empresses, haha. The Shenyang Imperial Palace is incredibly photogenic; with some makeup and styling, it really creates a special atmosphere. The tour guide's explanations were also excellent, very detailed, and they explained each hall clearly. Overall, highly recommended.
