The Jiangxi Guild Hall in the ancient city of Huize, also known as the Wanshou Palace, commonly known as the Jiangxi Temple, is a hometown guild hall built by Jiangxi merchants in Huize. It is located in the middle section of Jiangxi Street in Huize County. The entire Jiangxi Guild Hall covers an area of  square meters, with 44 houses and a construction area of 2,874 square meters. It faces south and north, and is laid out in depth along the central axis, with three courtyards and two cross courtyards. It consists of a gatehouse stage, a main hall, and a back hall. The main hall is the "Zhenjun Hall", which enshrines the statue of Xu Xun, the founder of Jiangxi Taoism. The east side hall hangs a plaque of "Yulong Wanshou" and the west side hall hangs a plaque of "Dizhu Xijiang". The back hall is the Guanyin Hall, which enshrines the statues of Guanyin, Wenshu, and Samantabhadra, and hangs a plaque of "Cihang Pudu". There are also east and west cross courtyards. The east cross courtyard is a garden, and the west cross courtyard has an indoor theater that can accommodate more than 500 spectators. The most distinctive feature of Jiangxi Guild Hall is the stage in the gatehouse. The stage is a mixed hip roof structure with through-beam and raised-beam, with a mountain gate in the front eaves and a stage on the upper floor. The front eaves are three-layered, and the back eaves are five-layered. Under the eaves are decorative dense brackets with a shrine in the eaves, which houses the three stars of fortune, wealth and longevity. There are 42 wing corners in the front and back of the roof, with unique shapes and exquisite designs, like a crane spreading its wings and flying in the sky. The stage is 16 meters wide and 13.6 meters high, and can be used for larger traditional opera performances. It is known as the "Five Sons of the Guild Hall" among the guild hall and temple buildings in Huize, and is considered the "county treasure" of Huize.Huize · 397m from downtown

The scenery is beautiful, but the service is inadequate. The temperature difference between morning and evening is large, and the waiting time for the dispatch bus was long during the National Day holiday. The temperature drops rapidly after 6 pm. Horseback riding and sightseeing buses within the scenic area are at your own expense. If you take children out, remember to wear sunscreen, bring dry food, and warm clothes.

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the copper industry was prosperous and people moved to Huize from all directions, forming a guild hall culture represented by the Wanshou Palace... I visited the ancient city of Huize. Unfortunately, it was not open during the epidemic. I could only appreciate the ancient buildings on both sides of the street. There was no commercialization in the ancient city. I could feel the life of the locals and roughly imagine the prosperous ancient city in the past.

In conclusion, it's definitely worth going. The scenery is beautiful, it's not crowded, and you can park your car directly in the scenic area, unlike other scenic spots that force visitors to take shuttle buses, which is a great feature. Our family of three took the glass rafting down to the bottom of the valley for 88 yuan per person, plus 10 yuan for a raincoat. It was a lot of fun, but a bit pricey. The scenic area was under maintenance, but we turned back after visiting the Dragon King Palace (I think that's the name). The core scenery is all in the One Line Sky area, which is truly stunning. When we came up, we counted exactly 500 steps from the Gate of Life to the glass rafting, which was quite tiring.

Compared with those internet-famous ancient villages, this village is indeed much less famous, but there is no commercial hustle and bustle here, and the view of the village from a distance is also wonderful!

This is a relatively undeveloped attraction, but it is actually a black-necked crane sanctuary. There are no animals in the summer, so there are not many tourists. It is a very quiet place, and locals will take a walk along the lake.

Tang Jiyao, also known as Tang Geng, was born in Jinzhong, Huize County, Yunnan Province in 1883 and died in 1927 at the age of 44. Tang Jiyao's former residence is located at No. 14, Sandao Lane, Huize County, covering an area of 850 square meters. The whole house faces south and north, and is divided into two courtyards, front and back. It is a small closed quadrangle building complex, which is a typical residential building in the middle and late Qing Dynasty in Huize. There are 3 main halls, a hall, a study and a stable in the front yard, and a warehouse in the back yard for grain. There are 14 houses in the front and back yards, and the courtyard of the former residence is well preserved. Tang Jiyao was an outstanding military strategist. He successively instigated the "Double Ninth Uprising", launched the National Protection Movement, and led the "Protecting the Law and Peace the Country". He was called "Three Heroes of Protecting the Country" together with Cai E and Li Liejun. Tang Jiyao was also an outstanding politician. During the 14 years he governed Yunnan, Tang Jiyao attached great importance to the development of education and sent a large number of students abroad. He took the lead in donating 10,000 yuan (old Yunnan currency) as preparatory fees, and later donated another 500,000 yuan to establish the first regular private university in Southwest China - Donglu University (the predecessor of today's Yunnan University); founded the first aviation school in Southwest China; and established the first bus station in Yunnan's history.

The most eye-catching thing in the park is this large copper coin that is over 20 meters high! Whenever people have some leisure time, they always go to the coin shop to try their luck. This large copper coin is a 39-fold enlargement of the original "Jiajing Tongbao". It is 22.62 meters high and weighs 7777 kilograms. A 120-meter-long rainbow bridge runs diagonally through the square hole of the Jiajing Tongbao coin. The "Jiajing Tongbao" is a commemorative coin for the opening of a furnace cast in Huize during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It is the largest, heaviest and thickest ancient metal coin in the world and the best "instruction manual" for copper mining, smelting and casting in Huize.

Driving on the highway, my eyes were inadvertently attracted by a huge object on one side - that is Asia's No. 1 earth dam, located on the highway next to Huize County. From a distance, the earth dam looks like a giant dragon lying horizontally, majestic and magnificent. The dam is thick and stable, with a simple color in the sun, and it blends in perfectly with the surrounding mountains and rivers. I imagine that it has resisted floods and benefited the local people for many years, and my heart is full of shock and respect. This architectural miracle that embodies wisdom and strength silently tells the story of the years.

Stepping into the Jiangxi Guild Hall in the ancient city of Huize is like traveling through time. This ancient building complex built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty carries a long history. Stepping into the guild hall, the carved beams and painted buildings are amazing, the flying eaves and corners are magnificent, and the glazed tiles are shining in the sun. Walking through it, the Grand Theater, Bell and Drum Tower, God of Wealth Temple and other buildings are scattered in an orderly manner, and every detail shows the exquisite craftsmanship of the craftsmen. The exquisite murals and wood carvings on the walls tell ancient stories and silently tell the prosperity of the past. The courtyard is quiet and secluded, dotted with green plants. Walking here, it seems that you can hear the whispers of history, making people intoxicated in this heavy and quiet.
