Things to do in Jingdezhen

The scenic area includes the ruins of official kilns, folk kilns, the old factory buildings of the Jianguo Porcelain Factory, old alleyways, the newly built Longzhu Pavilion, the Imperial Kiln Museum, and more. It is one of the five parts of the Jingdezhen Handmade Porcelain Industry Relics World Cultural Heritage site. A must-see when visiting Jingdezhen; it's well worth it.

A cool place to be creative. Found at Building C6 is the star man group who run the activities booked. Our teacher spoke English and was super helpful and calm.

The museum is beautiful, and there was a wonderful exhibition on imperial porcelain – a real eye-opener! I loved it! The exterior of the museum is perfect for taking photos, but it's just so crowded; you have to queue for ages to get a picture.

Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's a worthwhile attraction, and not too crowded. There are small restaurants along the river; the food is decent and the prices are acceptable. You can enjoy both food and scenery.

Hike through Wanghu Ecological Park to witness the breathtaking Nanshan Waterfall and experience its awe-inspiring cascade. Water mist blankets your clothes, the valley roars, and the mountains exude a natural grandeur. The murmuring streams and clear springs among the rocks offer a glimpse into the slow pace of life in the mountains.

It's worth a visit if you've never seen a county government office before, especially the performance. Kudos to the actors! Despite the heat, they didn't slack off at all and gave a fantastic performance. However, I have to complain about the overly complicated route design (a common problem with all tourist attractions these days). They've built so many pointless commercial facilities. If you don't want to see these, you have to take the shuttle bus, which costs 10 yuan round trip. This kind of mindless design is just awful.

The tourists who come here in an endless stream are more like uninvited guests, which have opened ripples in the tranquility here. Going up the stream along Sanbao Road, all the way to the end of the road, the valley is quiet and the birds are singing more crisply, the stream is gurgling under your feet, and you don’t follow Ruan Ji’s cry of despair, but instead want to return to farming. A spring rain at night, the lightness and heaviness complement each other.

Definitely worth a visit! I had imagined it would be inside a cave, but I didn't expect it to be so thrilling and fun. We experienced hiking, felt the excitement, and also saw porcelain. The kids were very satisfied – a truly unique experience!

A local old man devoted his life to creating this scenic spot, which is on the only way to Yaoli from Jingdezhen. The style of the main building is similar to that of an earth building, with a hollow ring shape. The exterior walls are decorated with broken porcelain pieces of various colors. There are currently four buildings, three circular and one rectangular. The themes of the internal displays are different, some are praising advanced figures, and some are introducing the core values ​​of socialism. They are all porcelain paintings fired from one piece.
