Dragon Fort is located on a hill in the small town of Koenigswinter near Bonn. The hillside is a bit sloping. If you want to save time or are not confident in your physical strength, you can pay a small train or carriage at the foot of the mountain. If you choose to walk, you will pass an amphibian museum. If you are interested, you can go in and take a look. Another big surprise of walking is the panoramic view of the town under the mountain, which is unique. The Dragon Fort has two floors. After entering the door, the first is an environmental protection exhibition hall, which mainly shows the process of protecting the environment and birds. It is said that there was a wealthy businessman who lived in Longbao. From the bearskin carpets on the ground, the large murals on the walls, and the glaze patterns on the glass, the luxury of Longbao is displayed.Konigswinter · 3 km from downtown

The Bonn Cathedral was built between 1140 and 1250. It perfectly combines Roman and Gothic architectural styles. It is one of the important masterpieces of medieval church architecture. In the history of the Holy Roman Empire, the rule of the Hohenstaufen dynasty (Staufer) ended to the great vacancy period (1254-1273) before the accession of the Habsburg dynasty Rudolf I. Friedrich der Schöne was crowned in Bonn Cathedral. Over the centuries, Bonn Cathedral has been renovated and enlarged by its successive successors. It was bombed by Allied artillery during World War II and was later repaired. The church has a bronze statue of Helena (the daughter of Zeus in Greek mythology) and two 18th-century marble altars surrounded by romantic Baroque carvings and frescoes.Bonn · 7.7 km from Konigswinter

Cologne Cathedral is located in the center of Cologne, on the banks of the Rhine River. It is a landmark building in Cologne. The 157-meter-high bell tower makes it the second tallest church in Germany, the third tallest in the world, and the third largest Gothic church in the world. The church was built in the middle of the 13th century. After more than 600 years, it was only announced to be completed in 1880. The church is still being repaired. The church is considered a good combination of all medieval Gothic architectural and decorative elements and is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.Cologne · 32 km from Konigswinter

Rheinauhafen District

Rheinauhafen District is a waterfront neighborhood transformed from an old freight port. The riverside promenade is lined with modern buildings, interspersed with cafes, galleries, and art spaces. The remnants of the port era and the newly built glass facades complement each other, showcasing a modern urban style. The district's core landmark consists of three high-rise buildings known as the "Crane Houses," standing approx. 60m tall, with an inverted L-shape that echoes the area's history as a freight terminal. Historical remnants, such as the Bayenturm tower dating back to the Middle Ages, are also preserved along the route. Looking north along the river, the silhouettes of the cathedral and the iron bridge are clearly visible, with classical spires and modern architecture framed together. At dusk, the sunset reflects on the river surface, and strolling along the path offers a panoramic view of the city on both banks, forming a waterfront view that blends industrial memories with a stylish atmosphere.Cologne · 30.6 km from Konigswinter

The Beethoven Memorial Statue stands on the Cathedral Square in the center of Bonn. Beethoven is standing tall, holding a pen in his right hand and a musical score in his left hand, looking into the distance, deeply immersed in the conception of the work, Beethoven's intoxicated gesture and the square come up Often the lively atmosphere of the people forms an unusually obvious contrast. The sketches of the Beethoven memorial statue were drawn by the sculptor at the time, Professor Ernst Haehnel of the Dresden Academy of Arts, and the engraving was completed by the sculptor and bronze caster Erzgiesser.Bonn · 7.7 km from Konigswinter

The castle has a beautiful exterior and nice interior decoration. The corridor on the first floor is painted, and the roofs and furniture in the bedroom and living room are all made of solid wood. The bearskin carpet on the ground, the large murals on the wall, and the glazed patterns on the glass all show the luxury of Dragon Castle.

The Cologne Cathedral is a jaw-dropping masterpiece of Gothic architecture. The moment you step out of the central train station, its colossal twin spires tower over you-the sheer scale of it is completely overwhelming and beautiful.Inside, the experience is just as incredible. The massive vaulted ceilings, the stunning, intricate stained-glass windows, and the historic Shrine of the Three Kings are unforgettable. For an extra adventure, you can climb the hundreds of steps up the South Tower for a spectacular panoramic view of Cologne and the Rhine River. It is an absolute must-visit landmark that easily deserves a perfect rating!

Cherry Blossom is a really great little city. The scenery is quite standard. It is a city with an industrial feel. The streets are neat and clean, the buildings are relatively modern, and the infrastructure is very important. I recommend staying here for a few nights. The people are simple and honest.
